Fluid by design.
Our instrumentation changes with each work, shaped through close dialogue between composers and performers. There is no fixed format—only a commitment to music that is direct, perceptible, and alive.

O-POINT creates shared origins—where composer, performer, space, and listener meet at one exact point.
The circle we inhabit
O-POINT is a contemporary music ensemble dedicated to co-creation with composers.
Each project begins with a shared theme. Across the season, we work with several composers to develop new pieces from the ground up. One idea unfolds into distinct musical expressions—each offering a different way of listening, perceiving, and experiencing sound.

We approach contemporary music not as something to decode, but as something to experience. Sound moves through space and expands through visuals, movement, and installation, forming immersive environments in which the audience becomes part of the perceptual field.
We create performances in many kinds of spaces, adapting each work to its context and exploring new modes of encounter. Each season marks a new beginning.

Next season · In development
A new O-POINT concert season tracing how sound, memory, people, and places move out of view—and what they become within us.
If something transforms, has it really disappeared?
Feeling
A motif changes register, timbre, distance, and space. Its form disappears while its feeling remains.
Transformation
Disappearance and transformation are distinct, yet coupled actions. The inquiry is not only what is lost, but where change can lead.
Social presence
We listen with people at work—in offices, restaurants, and homes—to hear what different spaces offer, and whose presence usually escapes attention.
Attention
Musical layers enter and leave; others are shifted, camouflaged, or simply forgotten. Some are kept alive just long enough for us to witness them disappear.

An open invitation
We do not seek finished scores; we seek the point of origin.
Bring us the question before it becomes an answer. Together we can test acoustic possibilities, spatial electronics, audience relationships, and the architecture of breath.
